Recently, whilst cleaning my 15ft lpxe before putting it away for the winter, I discovered a spiral shaped fracture line running along the male part of the joint on the middle section.
The rod has been used for 1 1/2 seasons and hasn`t done any heavy sunk line work. I checked my more recent 14 ft lpxe and it has a visible spiral line in the same place but it isn`t possible to feel the roughness of this as with the 15 footer.
Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this with their rods and whether or not it is anything to worry about as the rod still performs perfectly well. ( so far?
