Graham - I have in my possession an Airflo Polyfuse Salmon /Steelhead Tactical Series Delta Spey WF 10/11. I have never spooled this as I heard that Airflo Floaters were not up to much but I now also hear that the Salmon ones were not too bad. What is your opinion?

Thanks Graham - Don't see the symbol XT anywhere so it must be one of the older ones. Think I'll just keep it in the cupboard.

Would I be right in thinking that a shorter head, like the 56ft delta spey, would be suitable for close distance work with a shorter rod or are there other applications where a short head is required?

Graham,
I think Airflo make lines for Loop so you are probably close to the mark when you say the lines are similar.
