Worcestershire Salmon Fly Line ........ I get a free one of these with the reel?? does that mean its crap??? I dont have any choice in weight ( but i need a 10/11) or type...ie floater, sinker........so if its no good fro my rod then i'll just have to flog it on e-bay!

John
They are ok but some can be a little loose in the cage. Ie the spool is not machined true.
They are not as good as the Condex they replace but should do your job. I did spot a beaulite on e- bay that would be a better bet - albiet a bit heavier but a good workhorse and caught me plenty of fish in their day. Once again check on availability as-- last year they stopped making them after March and although my order was placed in October they are still not available.

I asked the guy for a sink tip, intermediate or a slow sink if i had any choice.....he says he will send me an intermediate #10....... what do you think?? is that any good for a 10/11 Oracle rod?? or would a #11 have been better? i dont know if its DT or WF or Spey or what??
Ive got the floater coming from turriff with the rod..... an ian Gordon?? so at least i'll have 2 lines to get me started!

John , a floater with a sink tip added will in most cases do the business in the area you are most likely to be having a quick cast of an evening, get the better of that set up before you go on to other set ups, each is progressively more difficult , .would be my advice.

thanks Dennis! I have a few polytips ordered with my floating line..... one slow sink and one fast sink...... i thought that would be enough for me on the Ericht.... but seeing as the intermediate was free... what the hell!
I was out with the rod you lent me! ent down tonight...... Ericht is ankle deep..... so nt much chance of a fish... but i think i have the general jist!! Salmon beware! Dont think i'll get out for a few days.... weathers looking rough!
