I would like to say a personal thank you to James Chalmers (Speyvalley) for his excellent service concerning two Carron lines I had recently purchased.
To start with, I received a call from James last Sunday evening to discuss my query, and then he arranged for me to meet with him on the Spey yesterday morning to check the lines. Needless to say, everything was fine. How's that for service?

Richard you forgot to mention that James carried the Black Banger the last 30 miles as it is totally useless in the snow.

James: the rod and line were christened yesterday with a kelt. The Devereon is running very low and clear, and it took a darkly dressed size 12 cascade, and another pulled a few casts later. Hopefully the springers will arrive after the thaw.

L200. Fine if you want to spend all your cash on diesel, oh, and it turns like the queen mary Toyota Hilux VX 280. If it's good enough for the Taliban, its good enough for anything Im going to do in it!!
