Hi All,
I'm looking for a spinning rod to accompany my fly rod on the Tyne this Sept.
It'd need to take the usual weights/sthingys and ideally between 7' and 9'... and possibly double up as a wormer
Any bargains out there or perfectly decent rods for under £50?
Thanks
Jon

Hi
You should look at either Daiwa who have two ranges under £50 or Shimano Nexave's which come in under £50. All excellent rods for the money. You can ring me if you want to discuss the ranges in detail.

Talking about spinning rods I have the Grays greyflex 9ft and even though its a lovely looking rod I find it a bit stiff. Many years ago I used to use a Hardy fibertube 10ft spinning rod with a multiplier reel and it was a joy to use I just wish I could find one like it now
