Ditto on Grahams comments there, I too have got the IG 75ft Inter and 65ft sinker and that seems to do the job best.

Use Lee Wulffs in 80ft heads both floater and intermediate with 18" cut off the front to help with polyleader turn over in good to reasonable wind conditions, then use Rio Accelerators 80ft heads again floater /intermediate and multi-tip in less favorable winds or with tubes of over 1".Like them both a lot the Wulff has the edge in terms of presentation the Rios are longer for if I am really on top my casting game, use a 16ft 9/10 #Powerlite spey and a 15ft6"10# Sovereign for either line and can roll/lift the full heads just fine.Pedro.

Rennie
I have an 80ft Accelerator tips line and been looking to replace it, its 5 years old and past its best.
Do you know where I can get a hold of one? I was considering cutting an IG 75ft floater as a second best option.

Sagecaster,if you can find one get two and I will have one, love these lines to bits but they are rarer than rocking horse poo.Every shop, game fair etc. I visit I scour usually in vain down to my last one of each type then I am in trouble. If I come across any will give you the nod, cheers Pedro.

rennie, cheers I'll keep a look out too. I did hear from the Speyclave of some tackle shops in the States that still had one or two but they were all 8/9's as far as I remember. I think I'll try chopping the IG line 75 line which is quite similar, I'll let you know how I get on.

I see Lochmor spey lines for sale @ £19.99 and I'm thinking about buying a couple. Graham made a comment earlier in this thread about them which would indicate they are good value at this price. Anyone else cast these lines ? Head length 75' ?

Got two in med. sink and fast sink and they are ok,go out well if a bit clumpy on touch down but other wise well pleased and at £19.99 well cant go wrong. Pedro

Springer,
Many thanks for the advice. Do you think the IG would turnover the RIO 15ft tips if I cut it back far enough? It would be the ideal solution for me.
