Ar present i only have two 10/11 lines for my 15ft rod they are both snowbee 2D lines (medium head)one is a sink tip and one is a floater,I love using these and think they are good lines, I am thinking though that i need to increase my selection with some other lines maybe full sinking or intermediate ,i have also been looking at lines such as the guideline shooting head systems, Rio multi etc but i just cant really make up my mind what i need first. My fishing is done mostly on middle and upper Tay and at this time of year the Annan.I would really appreciate some good advice on this ,can anybody help ? I"m driving myself mad

Hardygem,
Springers recommendation is spot on and I would recommend the Carron 75ft Intermediate as the carron range of flylines IMO are the currently the best available in the marketplace.

I think the IG intermediate sinks at 1"/second.

I have the IG medium sink (2in per sec) and it's a good line in ideal conditions. When conditions are not ideal (adverse wind etc) or I'm using larger/heavier flies I use my Hardy Mach fast (clear) intermediate (again 2in per sec). It's a great short headed line and would turn over a brick into a wind. I recently tried Bill Drury's Guideline Spey sink1/sink2 line and really liked this also. It's double density so tip sinks first, which is what you want really.
All these lines I'd recommend.
Carron lines are great but very expensive compared to other brands.

Chaps, Am thinking of getting a Snowbee 10/11 sink-tip to complement my IG floater, intermediate and medium sink lines
Am fishing the Tweed next month in the Melrose area, beat TBC,also a couple of days on the Nith
Advice given to me says leave Polytips alone and use the sinking line, but I like the IG I/M line with the tips..........
