Have been reading good reports on these rods - anyone use these rods/recommend a model for UK rivers? Would need to be able to handle teeny-type line aswell as floater/intermediate. Any comments/suggestions appreciated.  |

I use a few of Meiser's rods, I find them excellent and they are finished to an unbelievable high standard. It is very difficult to recommend one for UK rivers until I know which rivers or at least how big the rivers are and at which time(s) of the year you intend to fish them.
My only criticism is that he uses standard American reel seats and some of my reels do not fit.
If you are up in this neck of the woods I will happily let you try one or two to see which action you prefer.

I fish the Hampshire Avon and try and get up in your neck of the woods each year.
Looking for a 15 footer for use predominantly in the spring down here. Also want a rod that will help with my casting, as I want to progress and try and get some qualifications - level 1, level 2 salmon etc.
