Has anyone on the forum cast this rod? How would describe the action? It states it's a medium/fast?
Looking for a inexpensive backup rod and a 14ft 6 would be perfect.
thanks

Maximum length via any Royal Mail service is 1.5 Metres. That is Parcelforce.
In its tube my 15' 4" Hardy Elite is 1.72 Metres. Too long!
Some local Post Offices in small villages don't check the overall length. Some do. Other times...and this is the madness...Parcelforce will bring it back a few days later syaing it is too long!
Yet if that was the case...how did they manage to get in back to you? As if it's too long to go from Post Office to recipient's address it must be too long to go from Post Office to sender's address!
As the Americans say, Go Figure!

you can get by the maximum length i am told by putting the rod in a box? but maybe that changed with the new rules as well?

I just noticed the same seller has quoted £90 to ship it to the US? It must have a seat to itself!!!
