C D,can these be applied to the inside of breathables, for a normal wader leak? Hi SK, I have always applied these to the outside of the waders, but inside would be less unsightly. No problem with neoprenes but I'm not sure how well they would stick to the shiny material on the inside of breathables - I tend to patch or aquasure breathables on the outside because I feel the "nap" of the material offers greater adhesion - no hard evidence on that though. Regards CD

Starting to get slight dampness in foot, a very minor leak has developed. Have not tested for leaks yet and while aquasure may cure the problem I've noticed the tape on the neoprene stocking feet joints is coming away where my socks are damp. Anyone know where you can purchase lengths of this iron on tape?

Anyone ever put breathables thro the washing machine? I m getting a bit damp when wading for a while,i think the waders just need a good wash in nic wax to restore the breathability.
