A friend of mine bought this gear and, after trying the jacket, I sent for the "set". It's cracking good gear and for £169.95 I got the waterproof jacket and trousers, Fleece jacket, jumper, base layer (long johns and top) middle layer (fleece long johns and smart fleece top) Gloves, high-viz waistcoat and hat. The jacket is superb and has a detachable hood and stud-on midge net. Anyone else tried this stuff?

Good value, but after a good day in the rain, you'll find that you are wet through.

Hi viz is there because of safety Scandic shooting legislation. Apparently most quarry is significantly colour blind and can only distinguish movement, so they claim you are not likely to scare anything off!

Hi Donnie,

Couple of folk I've met on the shooting front use this stuff and give it good reviews as hard wearing and reliable. Probably more for moderate rather than extreme weather
