So ....., Mr Norwich is not doing a lot of selling to forum members? Was thinking the same - think I'll buy one just to make him feel needed Fly rod of the year perhaps...
Nice thought, we do seem too willing to overlook UK manufacturing, whereas the U.S consumer seems keener to buy U.S. product.
Scandinavian tackle is also an "in" product just now. Will British ever be cool again

Of course British rods are cool-you just need a rod that sounds like it belongs near a salmon river and it'll sell by the truck load.
Stands to reason doesn't it it as it's worked for years with sturdy redoubtable proven salmon killing weapons with names like Bruce,Walker,Hardy,Clan,Sharpe's,Gordon, etc.
I mean fancy calling a salmon rod "Norwich"-sounds like a worm drowning pole for a Hoseasons longboat trip to the Norfolk broads to these ears and reminds me of the birthplace of all of those geriatric farmers that clog up the Tweed at the back-end and do all the cheap claret in the Ednam before I get to it...................with the natural exception of a dearly beloved former tackle dealer in that locale of course!!
