Does anyone know how to change these reels from left to right hand wind?
Thanks in advance.

Take the spool offand you will see a large disc like bearing at the bottom of the spindle. Slide this up off the spindle and replace it the other way up. There may be a rubber washer slipped down the spindle to hold the bearing and preventing it falling off accidentally.

Hi There is a little spring clip round the clutch- it is in the spool - not on the spindle you need to pop this out turn the clutch round ,replace it back and then replace the clip. Frank

Dangler - your suggestion worked for my back up Summit reel which I needed to change as well.
Turriftackle - all sorted.
Thanks Both

Juststartedagain, sincere apologies. That will teach me not to be a smart arxe and think I can remember without checking. Thank goodness Frank saved the day and I'm just glad I left out the bit about the 3lb Birmingham spanner! Pleased the operation was ultimately successful.
