Hi Col and Gordon, yes the fish came out the same river. It was the River Awe at the barrage (A beat) this early June, the pic of the river taken as the sun was setting - about 10.30pm.
The first morning I arrived (fished for 3 days here), I and one other rod had hit 11 fish by lunch, landing 6 of them, losing the other 5 after brief tussles. All these returned.
The fish in the photo came out day two, along with a couple of other pulls - ahh ... memories...
Gordon, I'll pop another link up which you should have no bother guessing what river, but let the others have a go too !!

Very nice web site Sorlacks - ahh .. the dark afternoon's not so bad now.
Col, I'm not entirely sure, but the one photo that is open - I think its the top of Arndilly on the Spey ? The trees on the far bank though might mean I'm wrong - otherwise it's the Dee, down from Aboyne ? Unfortunately, I can't see the other 3 photos.

Altmor,the first photo is spey craigellachie(upper slabs),don't know whats happened the other three,are you giving enough time to load?

At least I got the river right - just a couple of beats downstream !!
All I get for the other 3 photos is a red cross in a box saying "image" - wont open when I click on any of them ?

Might be something up with the board, look at the board info - its last posting is by Salmonking at 5.46pm. We've both had a couple of posts on after this and yet this is the one where Salmonking's photo is missing. Looking further back up the thread Salmonking - your earlier photo of Craigellachie has now dissapeared !! (or it has on my screen).
