My long weekend on the Isel beat in october has gone other beats on the derwent at that time of year are too small for the usual mob of 3/4/5 ,any one have a suggestion for sensibly priced English or Welsh salmon fishing in October .Oh it would be nice to have a chance of a fish !

You could try and join Bowland Anglers or Whitewell Anglers that have jointly bought the Isel beat then you could fish when ever you like, I could pass the details onto you if you need them.

ACW - the Annan is only 1/2 hr further north, fishing is at its best in October - try the Fishannan web site.
Wilbert - can you post details of the 2 clubs you mentioned please. Do they have waiting lists?
