;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I caught my first ever Salmon!! and on a home tied fly! Okay so its not the biggest or the fattest, and it has a little seal damage at the top of its tail..... but i'm chuffed! ;D It was caught on the Ericht Monday morning, with a little help and guidance from Milos and Grant Now for the Oscar speech! Special thanks have to go to Dennis aka Kercock for his lessons and advice and the loan of tackle when i got started, Thanks also to Grant for his tutoring and knowledge, and to Milos for putting me in the right spot at the right time!! Thanks to everyone else for tips and advice! I didn't put a picture of me holding the fish on as it makes it looks even smaller than it is! but at a little over 3lb, it's a welcome start!! Roll on tomorrow for another 2hours fishing and hopefully making up for lost time! ;D ;D

Good work John, nice looking fish - the pressure is now off. Might tempt me into venturing out tonight if the water drops a touch - which pool did you catch it in?
