Hello, By the end of may I will go salmon fishing for the first time( I had never fished salmon before), to nothern Spain. I don´t have a fly casting rod for salmons so a friend of mine will lend me a rod but is not a fly fishing rod, it is a rod that uses this metal shinnig lure ( I don´t know the name in english , in spanish is named cuharilla-spoon) that has this kind of spiral movement that atracs predators. Any advise on the use of this kind of lure, and on salmon fishing in general will be of great help( best time of the day, best spots, anythig)
Regards

;D Ola, You are fery lucksome to have a shinny lure.here in the east of Scotland we call it a thingsy, same letters, different speak. The cunning plan is that if the hooc on the thingsy dos not get the salmons the metal part will !. There is no speecial times of day to use a shinny thingsy but it is bestest to use him in April ,particlry on the first day of that mumf. ;D ;D
