Would it be worth the 8 hour round trip for me to fish the Brae beat of the Spey this Saturday? A few guys I know have the beat booked, but one of them has had an unplanned operation on a knee.
I was told that early morning would be the best bet, which would rule it out for me , as I would have to leave about 1am!!! However, having thought a bit more about it, the water is dropping and the high tide is about 1pm.
I'm already on the Tay, but could pass this on to A N Other.
