Does anyone have any knowledge of how the Torridge is at the moment? In a fortnight I've got a week there so I'd be grateful of any updates.
Cheers

I hear it has had a reasonable spring (by recent standards) but it must be getting a bit low by now. You may be better off concentrating on sea trout if there is no more rain. I think there is someone on Hoppy's sea trout forum who fishes the Torridge so it may be worth asking there seatroutfishing.proboards34.com/Let us know how you get on. Andy

Just back - a disappointing week. Despite the rise on Monday which took until Wednesday to clear we didn't see or touch any salmon. Also, the sea trout run seems to be a little late this year although we did manage a decent one to save our blank. Fishing aside the Torridge is a beautiful river and a privilege to fish. We'll be back again next year...
