Yes, shrimpy sorts of things seem to be the main style of flies I use. Whatever the conditions, a shrimp fly always looks good in the water: well, to me that is, what the salmon think is another matter!

shrimps dominate my fly box. From big cascade tubes to tiny black and silver shrimps.

same with me, shrimp patterns tend to dominate my fly box too. I suppose a lot of it comes down to what you have had success on and so are confident on using

Really like a slim presentation too,a Silver/Pearly/Gold,Stoats Tail tied slim with a squirrel tail wing,looks a little bit fishy/elverish maybe,same with tubes too,like a shorter body and longer wing again elverish.Really love black/yellow wing and a silver body which doesn't fit in to shrimpy things really (apart from the yellow Allys which I cant get a pull on). Pedro.
