Grahan Ritchie has a sad tale about fish on the dropper.
Come on Graham tell the tale about the Logs last season.

Had 2 trout at once plenty of times, sometimes 3 at once pity I can't do the same with women! (must need a bigger dropper!!) I even managed to get 2 arctic char on my very first first cast in a small lake in Russia, never caught any before or since.
2 Salmon at the same time must be a 1 in a million chance, its hard enough to catch 1 so hats off to the guy.

My father was fishing on Loch Beg on the Thurso. He hooked a fish and it tore off into a weed bed and ‘ping’ the cast broke.
Later he hooked another fish. This one seemed more subdued and as he drew it in he realised why. It was the fish that he had lost. This time his dropper had hooked the dropper which was trailing from the lost fish.
He got the fish and all his flies back. All thanks to the dropper.

Yet to catch two salmon at once, but I have had two sea trout on a few occasions.

I hooked a big fish on the south tyne in that great autumn of 2004. The fish went straight to the far bank and just plodded away for a while and felt very heavy. Much to my dissapointment the fly came out and i was pretty gutted. As the line was swinging back round from the other side another fish got hold of it Not two at the same time but two fish hooked on one cast. That one didn't stick either...

I was fishing with my mate on the River Moy about 5 years ago, in those days we had only started fishing for salmon and were using trout gear. He hooked into a big fish and straight away it started on a run, it quickly took out all the fly line and then started into the backing. It just kept going as on that tackle he couldn't stop it - it reached the end of the backing and snap. My mate just stood with his head in his hands looking a bit dazed. A guy fishing downstream was unaware of what had happened and was casting out - by accident it hooked my mates line. He started to wind in and then realised there was a fish on the end To cut a long story short after he eventually managed to beach the fish by which time the ghillie and a large crowd had assembled! The fish was a fresh 16lber just off the tide - the debate was then who's fish was it, my mates as he hooked it or the other guy who landed it? Eventually after must discussion by mate ended up with it! So not 2 fish on the one cast or line but one fish on 2 lines ;D Needless to say we both invested in new, proper salmon gear the next year
