What a night at Old Trafford last night. The best performance I have witnessed for quite some time. Totally ripped Roma apart and the atmosphere was electric possibly even better than a match against Liverpool. Great to see the players handing out a spanking rather than the riot police.
Manchester United 7 Roma 1 (8-3 agg)
Hope they play well on sat when I make the trip to Villa Park for the semi's.

There were some arrests made before the game but I didn't see any trouble outside the ground before or after the game. Any trouble was around the mega store and on Sir Mat Busby Way (opposite end of the ground to where I sit)
Don't want to dwell on these incidents so back to the football, best Utd performance in Europe ever? certainly the best performance / result I have seen in 25 years.

Sounds like it was quite a good game, albeit a bit one sided, and there I was tying flies after deciding not to watch it .

Bit tougher for them tonight Wilbert.
Very entertaining game for the neutral - Rooney's finish was class.
Think they will do it?

It was a good night, their keeper made some excellent saves and Carrick should have scored, our defense was a little shaky at times Kaka was the only real threat and they gave him way too much space. A win or a draw will do fine in the next leg. My mates want to go to Athens for the final if we get there but I cant go as I am flying out to Russia the day after and cant guarantee making the morning flight so will have to watch on telly.
Will find out next week if I have got FA cup final tickets or not, what a joke with the allocation 25000 each in a 90000 capacity stadium, still its better than the allocation we got in the semis they gave Watford 5000 more tickets than us and surprise surprise they couldn't sell them.
