Yer all crazy - I'll tell ye !! - yer all crazy......and wir doomed. ;D Gentlemen - splendid work all round. Heartening to see that the 'ming factor' is still very much to the fore in most, if not all, cases - I salute you. In the most recent barry load the prime mover shakers IMO are......... Hornet : Wig Wam Bam - Interesting and open to interpretation. Clam 69 - If The Squids Are United - brilliant. The Tayshitty Rollers - Shang (drop the N) - A - Ling. Mr Consistent strikes again. Woburn : The medication aint working but hey ! Aelvin Stardust - sheer poetry Bohemian Rapalasody - guess it 'kicked in' Zander The Moon Of Love - Showaddywaddington - stronger dose Fruin : Esmond Drury + The Coneheads - simple.....like clear soup. CLag : Bob Church Of The Poisson Mind - Cartland esque. Baroque in flavour. I like this one. Paulsewin : R Bream Taylor - Craigellachie Wants Me. If you don't mind me asking can you still go back there ? Joni Mitchel - Broodsock. Almost perfect. Respect. Scott McKenzie - If Your Going To Fish Near Kelso. Reel catchy. One of these should make the shortlist IMO Speycaster : Keep at it my son ! Dont be put of by the quality being delivered by some of your fellow posters. They were pretty ropey at first also. Still got a week or so pull out the 'biggie'. Sorry folks - a wee spate river beckons and I have not yet had my elevenses. Frit - Frit STip

Well Sinkingtip that was a cracking thread and you and FishFM have a great deal to answer for!
As the month is rolling on quickly and on 30th April you asked for suggestions for the shortlist before 1st June, in true Eurofishion style I offer my votes;
Un Point ; Hornet - Phil Lineoot - the croys are back in town.
Deux Points ; Donnie W - Kinks - tired of wading.
Trois Points ; Paulsewin - Pike & Tuna Turner - River Deep rentals high.
Quatre Points ; ibm59 - Stranger on the shore - knackered whelk.
Cinq Points ; MacD - backing up is hard to do.
Six Points ; Riverwalk - Cyndy Louper - Grilse just wanna have fun.
Huit Points ; Parchman - Elkie Brooks - Pearls a Springer
And with Dix Points - Parchman - Queen - its a Kynoch Magic.
And that concludes the voting from Pertempledog.

But finally in line with the traditions of this forum, may I go off topic and remind everyone of that ditty about bird flu sung by Alvin Stardust - Cuckoo achoo!
Thank you and goodnight..

Yo Bro's and Ho's - Hoping to get the shortlist together over the weekend and will include those gems mentioned so far with a system of voting being devised shortly thereafter - feck alone knows how we will do it but maybe by some sort of process of elimination or something similar to PAT's excellent Euro System - Cuckoo Achoo to you too ! Evidence of seatrout now starting to enter the South Esk (a friend had a cracker the other evening) so quietly hoping that this bodes well for the coming weeks and for the eventual lucky 'winners' night. Recent contenders are IMO : The Mighty Hornet : Tracy 'chap it on the head man' - Fast Car 0n. Abstract to the point of Fauvism (post cubist movement). Ghillie Vanilli - Grilse Im Gonna Miss You. Nice. Barry Man Its Low - Looks Like We Wade It. A work of true art. Indeep - Last Night A Dee Flee Saved My Life. Bravo Hornet. Speycaster : Foreigner - Ive Been Wading For A Girl Like You. Know how it feels. Parchman : Oasis - Half A Worm Away. Like it Parchment. 'Kynoch' appears popular.... and why not ? PAT - Excellent shortlist showing an unbiased, varied and eclectic set of choices - something like your good self I would imagine. Deep respect to all STip-top.

Right I’ve come into this a bit late so I’ve not had time to get up to (or should that be down to) the standard set by the rest of you Baccara - Yes Sir, I Can Borgie (But I need a bit of rain.) Bruce and Walker Springerstyne - Prawn to Run. I hope the Boss put a fly down the run first Kylie Minnowgrue’s hit penned in Fort William - I Should Be So Lochy. The classic fly only beat from The Verve - The Plugs Don’t Work. This gets my vote, Please help me! Zander the Moon of Love - Showaddywaddington ? whatever he's on I want some Andy
