Hi Fruin - Re. Salmon Chanted Evening - not wishing to steal anyones thunder but I mentioned it in my initial post and as none of my suggestions are eligible it has to get the heave-ho. Sorry. No apology required. I missed that one in your original post - Doh!

Sorry Donsidecaster - rules is rules but thanks anyhow for the late contribution. Gentlemen - "Kynoch" appears to be the bookies fave just now. Based on Fruin and PAT's recently contributed shortlists I would like to make an executive decision and suggest that the final three consist of (in no set order).......... Its A Kynoch Magic - Parchman Last Night A Dee Flea Saved My Life - Hornet Bob Church of the Poisson Mind - CLag Vote now !

From this bit of Wales it's "There's a guy works down the chip shop swears he's Falkus" The play on this is true to the spirit of the the song and amalgamating it with the Falkus traits is a touch of comedy genius. Steve Steve, you've done a Terry Wogan - pay attention.

Its A Kynoch Magic - Parchman Last Night A Dee Flea Saved My Life - Hornet Bob Church of the Poisson Mind - CLag Vote now ! Yo !! No more votes ? nae borra - better putting this one to bed and get back to fishin. Certainly got mileage and thanks to all who took the time to contribute (you know who you are . The Parchman cometh - Its A Kynoch Magic. Popular throughout and from the same stable that gave us Pearls A Springer - say no more.....gentlemen I give you the winner......... PARCHMAN ;D A nights guided sea troot fishing with a good chance of a salmon before dark O'clock and after the troots have gone 'down' at sparrow fart. South Esk. End of June / early July. If you cant make we will go DTL and offer Hornet the option and so on - lucky 3 CLag ? . Parchman - PM me if the Esk is a goer for you and we'll take it from there. If you cant make it then next time your in the general area of the Tay I'll have my 'man' drop off a bottle of the finest nips to you at your fishing hut - lets hear it once more folks for PARCHMAN ;D !!!! Hornet - close buddy. I think we failed to target the granny vote. " Last Night A Dee Flea Saved My Life" was my personal favourite and, for information, was heavily rated by our insurance man - laugh ?....eh'll tell ye ! Quality and quantity from day one. Treble Yell + The Croys are Back in Town by Phil Lineoot - sheer mastery !! PM me next time your up this way (Angus) and we'll try to organise a crack at the grilse for you - August. Failing that - a case of "dark beer" and twa pund of Dorward O' Alyth's finest beef sasssseges to your fishing hut CLag - Bob Church Of The Poisson Mind ;D.....Cats Whisker Steven "Bob" had a kinda David Lynch surrealism sort of thing kinda going on sort of. I liked it a lot and felt it illustrated yet again the versatility of this mans talents ...........as it did for many. A respectable third place - sterling work as always. "Cats Whisker Steven" - the rankest of rank but wholly appropriate. The worst. ;D ;D Two tins of Creamola Foam, a hundred snakes and a well thumbed copy of Parade magazine to your hut my good fellow ;D Nice work. BTW the S/T nights yours if the ither twae cannae mak it - no disrespect intended. Must dash gents - going off shortly for one of my 'weeks' - back next Sunday. Not a laptop between us. Pray for rain. Thanks again to all contributors. This thread is now closed and has left the building
