OK, I'll take this slowly, since some of you seem to have trouble understanding me - perhaps it's the accent.
1. Drunken Scotsmen in a park have nothing to do with Scottish Independence. Did I make any such link? As I said above, it was a flippant comment in response to the suggestion earlier in this thread (from a Scot, I believe, or at least a resident of Scotland) that the Scots should deport their unemployable to England.
2. I'm sure you're right about drunken Englishmen north of the border, though fail to see the relevance because:
3. I'm not stereotyping. Please point to anything in my posts on this thread that can be deemed to be so. Those who know me know that I loathe and despise stereotyping.
I didn't say they were a significant number, I said they were a significant proportion. Off the top of my head I can only think of one other drunk I see as regularly in the park. He's black; I suppose he may be Scottish too, though I don't think so. So these guys represent 66% - a significant proportion in my book, albeit of a very small sample. Are they worth many of me? I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if they believe they are, particularly after about 11am.
For the avoidance of doubt, and because some of you seem intent on putting words into my mouth, let me spell this out. The fact that there are a couple of Scottish drunks who I see on a fairly regular basis does not lead me to conclude anything about the Scots as a race. I've met plenty of other Scots, and I'm fairly sure that one or two of them aren't drunks! However, some of the responses here lead me to conclude that anything resembling a sense of humour is lacking in some quarters.

What's drunken Scotsmen in a park got to do with Scottish Independence. I'm sure there's as many drunken English on this side of the border so geez a break eh! Don't stereotype us all, mate. 1.
