In the three categories above, list your favorite Scottish river (of the big 4), I'll analyse the results and post later.
Following from this, I would propose of the favorite River, to list beats, and then month within each category.
Just a bit of fun - but it could show us from the populous of this forum, which is the favorite river, beat and month on which to fish.

You can only vote once, not once in each category

Will need to do a bit of tinkering with this - you only get one vote in a poll - can't click on 3 categories. Colin Help !!
Sorry guys - but will try to work out a way round this.

Solution to above - 3 new threads, about to be posted - one for: FAVORITE SPRING RIVER FAVORITE SUMMER RIVER FAVORITE AUTUMN RIVER Where there's a will there's a way Please treat this thread as prototype - so NO need to post your poll answer on this one.

Johnmac,
Brilliant, reminds me of an old sketch on a programme, I think with "Rab C" - or possibly Ford Keirin / Greg Hemple ? ... not sure what it's called - but the sketch was "Translating for the Neds", where a newsreader would read out the news and in a small window on the screen, a "Ned" would translate back into "Nedspeak".
Anyone remind me of the programme ?

I think Stanley Baxter did it much better 30+ years ago. You're right WG - but you can see my dilema - I cant even remember the TV show from a few years back - let alone 30+.

To get back to the topic, which has been lead astray by "Mr 9 in a row" (aka you aint gonna win f*** all)
I,ve only had the pleasure of fishing a tributary of the Tay and the Tay itself, but all so far without any luck...but give it time... hope to spread my wings soon! If the salary will allow!
