I hold my hands up to poaching. The wife was waiting for me one day on Annan Water Bridge when she saw a fish jump out of the water (the water was low that day) and on the way back in it cracked its head on the rocks and got lodged in between two boulders. I waded in( trainers on the lot ) attempted to revive the fish by putting it back into the water but it had landed hard and its eyes were popping out of its head. So decided to keep it, chapped it on the head and on the way over the bridge and old guy that was watching actually thought I had guddled it out of the water. ;D It was a beautiful sea-licer fresh in from the sea (10lb). Sold it to a mate in the pub got myself a couple of pints. Didnt realise at the time it was poaching . Mike

Very well. This court sentences you to 50 hours carp fishing. Adjourned. Justice has been done, English style.
