In there this weekend for our wedding anniversary. Going fishing at Coupar Grange on Friday and resting our cold weary bones at the Tayside.
Does anyone know it?

Quite a few Tay ghillies do their swallowing in there,I've been in there for the occasional meal, opinion was ...quantity but no real quality. the previous owners spent a mint on refurbishment, transformed the place. The present owner does'nt enjoy the best of reputations. That may well have changed,it was on the market late last year and may have changed hands again. I hope you have a great time though and best regards to John at.Coupar Grange

I stayed there for a week last season and it was pretty good then. However, we were in a B & B last week near Stanley and were told by the Gillie's to avoid it as it has gone down hill. However, i was keen to make my own decision so we went there for our first nights meal.
The food was not particularly good and it was quiet, it wasn't really the end of the world though. If you want a good meal go to Bankfoot which is 10mins up the road, great food (relatively), slightly shabby place, friendly locals, fit barmaid and even fitter mother!!!
For a really good meal Pacco's in Perth is excellent...

Thanks for the info guys but we have booked dinner there for the two nights as part of the deal so we won't be going anywhere else.
