Dear tweedsider
Do you really fish with a steel centered split cane rod and the kingfisher line? If so, how far can you cast with the outfit? How do you give it an overhaul? What is the rod's length, line rating & line number? How much of your line do you grease? How do you treat your line? Boiled or unboiled linseed? Do you have your own line dressing?

Hello rpsalmon as you have guessed that was a bit of male cow byproduct, looking for a bit of feedback from something I read, perhaps not on this forum, by a guy extracting the urine about anglers of a more advanced age. No I fish with carbon fibre and spey lines like most others. The unfortunate thing is I am of the generation who would have used the tackle as described and thought it the very latest thing.
Tight lines Tweedsider
