45 fish for Park in February, best score for a few years for this month. Any theories about the total, i have never fished the beat but i imagine the lower colder temp's will have suited them down there and hence a good tally?

Cold temps and low water. Park has pools to suit most conditions, but I would say that in low water it beats Lower Crathes for quality of pools to fish. No doubt it's a good beat, however remember it can accomodate 12 rods (6 north and 6 south bank) so take that into consideration when calculating fish per rod. I'm sure it wasn't fully let in Feb, but neither would most beats.

Would like to fish Park and Lower Crathes sometime, i fished Crathes Castle last year which was nice. Might have a shot at Park early season next year at short notice if availability allows. I here on the grapevine that early prices on the Dee may be heading up next season. I still think that £89 is reasonable for a very realistic chance of a fish in Feb/Mar.

Most beats on the Dee seem to be around par with last years catches for Feb.
It is worth noting that until this year the south bank was fished as a sindicate and rarely fished in Feb. Now the estate have taken back the South Bank and are letting it to the general public. Due to this there seems to be far more rods on the south bank this year. Maybe the increased fishing presure has something to do with the rise in catches? If park would break up the catch returns for the north & south bank on fishdee we would have a better idea.
