Owen,
Good luck tomorrow. I'm not fishing this weekend, quality time with the wife and all that!
Have you fished the Delvine stretch before?

Owen, Delvine is only around 800yds long. Fish will run on the side that you are fishing, so, do not be tempted to wade over the top of them to cast to the other bank. In front of the hut, mid way across the river, there should be some large rocks. They may be submerged but you should still be able to make them out from the flow of water over them. Fish will sometimes lie in behind or to the side of these rocks. Fish the fly right in to the side where possible, no matter how shallow you think the water may be. If you are struggling to get an offer, try a floating line with a sink tip and a large (2 inch) bright fly (yellow, green or both) over the submerged rocks - sometimes works Tight Lines

Owen,
As the stretch is so short, you'll cover the whole lot two or three times easily. However, do concentrate particularly on the rocks as it is one of the main fish stopping features.
Don't lose heart after you've fished through the pool once as fish could creep through at any time. There is no really deep water that I know of, so a sink tip should suffice.

Dave - there is something about sitting in a boat for 3 hrs that nothing else compares too! I'm usually a hardy sole with the elements but not always given extreme circumstances!
