Does anyone know if ATH Design in Denmark are still producing Ari Hart reels and if any contact details are available.
I want to get a Lake Taupo F3 model but rarely see the m for sale. I had an email address for them but my pc crashed and I lost it.
Any help would be really appreciated.

An Ari fan myself (sadly all sold now though  ) anyway, if you're feeling flush speak to the man himself via www.luctorarithart.com/ as ATH design is no more. He went on to work with other makes including these guys who he sort of fell out with I believe....... www.dutchreels.comThe Taupo line was discontinued a long time ago, but theres a couple of beauties on the dutch site  Enjoy ;D |

Sadly have to agree, the new designs are a wee bit "in yer face" and modern for my liking. However, the older ATH designs and the ones DFR are offering (more 'taditional ATH type designs) are works of art Expensive though.........................................  |

You can still pick up the Original Ari T Hart reels such as the "Tweed" and "Salmon" S3 etc albeit from Ari T Hart designs brand new for reasonably competitive prices. There is a guy that trades on eBay in Germany under the name Reneangler who can help you out. Just search for Ari T Hart and he usually has the odd reel for sale and can get what you need. I have an Ari T Hart LA V from Dutch which now appears to be discontinued and hard to get which I'll probably be selling on eBay soon. The Redington models are also worth seeking out as these are some of his nicest reels in terms of both design and performance and can usually be picked up very reasonably. I use the Model III on my 12ft 6 Le Cie and its a nice set up Good Luck ! Splash |
