This Saturday on the Tay

Looking to get out on Saturday but none of my favourite beats are available..(and don't fancy 160 + VAT for Murthly) - where would members recommend from a choice of Findynate/Dunkeld and Birnam Association water or the Bank at Dunkeld House (which is the only one I have fished before and has some good flee water)?

Also out of interest is the Earn worth a throw at the back-end?

jsa. i seen lots of fish showing above the ferry pool last saturday on Birnam AA. I was only there for about 15mins (enough time to eat my pie supper) To my surprise there was nobody fishing. I personally dont know how it fishes but it might be worth a go.

Salmonnut....was thinking about the D&B water and trying to stop some fish before they get nabbed by the boat at Dunkeld House

And anyway if the fishing is no good I can nip into the Taybank for a venison burger and a pint ;D
