I am hoping to be able to free up a couple of days towards the end of April for some fishing. Could any of the forum members suggest which river/beat in Aberdeenshire might give me the best chance of some sport. (any reasonable cost as i do not have a fortune to spend)
Cheers, Iain

I see Lower Woodend is now on fishdee and is available at the end of April.
I was told that it wasn't the best beat but surely a good bet on the Dee at that time of year for the money.
Looks nice on the pic?

Manar will fish even in quite a high water, the tail of the sheep & the lower woods both fish well, as does the boat pool.

As the rivers are likely to be a might warmer by then a day on the Don might yield a fish or two - I'd think about a day at Grandhome on or about spring tides and as an outside bet a day at Fetternear may possibly be quieter than Manar and is as likely to produce
