I have just negotiated a crafty days fishing when the wife was somewhat receptive to negotiation..
It had to be the Tay (its during a weekend visit for a christening in Stirling) and I've just booked Dunkeld House..
Has anyone fished it and perhaps would be willing to give me a few pointers?
Please tell me its not leadcore lines or cutlery?!
Any help or envouragement much appreciated.

Hi JJ - for the fly best to concentrate on the top half of the beat if possible - Carrot Beds, Rock Pool, Ferry Pool and Lady Pool. IF you are fishing from the boat then the boatman should be willing to 'let you down' the Cathedral Stream. From the Hotel downstream I think it is fair to say that it is not classic fly water - Girnal, Mousetrap etc although these pools can be extremely productive with spinning gear. Enjoy your day .
