***Newsflash*** The second fresh salmon of the season was caught today by Jim Metcalfe at the the mount stream. it weighed around 6lb and despite conditions being chilly shows there are fish around if your willing to persevere. The river is starting to drop off now after running high cold and clear for nearly a week. The weather forecast for the next week is fairly settled so we could see some excellent fishing conditions and hopefully some more fish.
