I can't believe that as many members as there are on this forum that knowbody has anything to report about their fishing today. Even if you caught nothing, there must have been something that happened during your days fishing that is worth passing on to other members. Unless none of the members on here have been fishing.

Hi, Funny thread I can only speak for myself, the two guys I regularly fish with, and the guy I met on the riverbank this morning in saying that the Dee and Don are just hopeless at the moment in terms of finding fish. The season has slowed down to a virtual stop - not ashamed, we're just very frustrated. I fished the ADAA waters of the Don this morning from 7.30am - 2pm. I fished a very popular pool called the Manse which was running low and clear. The temp. was 10 degrees C and under usual conditions should have been holding a few springers. There were a few kelts splashing about, but I never saw a fresh fish. Very early on, the sun burned-off the haar and the day was very bright and warm (19 degrees). I then moved down to the Streams which was in prime condition but alas nothing stirred. Had a long and enjoyable chat with a forum member than returned home and watched the cricket and applied some cream to my rapidly improving sun-tan - just off now to watch CSI: NY Did you fish today and what was your emotional state? Hopefuly you were lucky enough to catch a fish
