Looks like the fish are a starting to appear in the Tay, Islamouth and Kercock had 8 fish each yesterday ;D

The next question has got to be - are they springers or early summer fish? Just glad to see that something is finally happening.

The Tay ghillies often tell me that a good spring run is followed by a poor turnout of grilse - and vice versa. Here's hoping it is the start of something good for the summer. On a more personal note i am slightly saddened that I have given away my rods for two days on Islamouth next week!

The '8' off Kercock was entered by mistake and has been corrected. It was actually 1 at 8 pounds.
