Not sure if anyone else has had the same problem, but I have been banned from viewing "Where are the Grilse" Anyone else had the same problem? The last time this happened it seemed to be due to a problem when the user had AOL as their internet provider. Emperor William was able to sort it out last time but has been conspicous by his absence of late; there must be a few gigs scheduled for that Wham tribute band ;D

I am not an AOL user, so that excuse cannot be used.

Regarding Internet Browsers. I make my living as a software engineer, so may I offer some simple advice to forum members which will get around some of the browser issues... There is only one cross platform(over all operating systems) W3C validated browser available which is Mozzila Firefox 2.0 Its an open source project and free to download. www.mozilla.com/en-US/ It is the only browser I can recommend. Another jazzier but not quite as compliant browser to try is Opera. www.opera.com/Avoid the proprietary browsers like the plague, AOL, Virgin, etc. They are full of incompatibility issues. Incidentally I cannot recommend Internet Explorer, or Safari either both also have compatibility issues which cause inconsistent page rendering. However, some ASP sites use Microsoft technology whereby only Internet Explorer will work. So having IE as a back up on your PC may be useful. Regarding IP's issues: Delete your internet files(cache, temporary internet files, cookies, sessions) regularly. Beware of incorrect application of firewall and other internet security settings, these influence what browsers and web servers can access. Stringent settings can render the operating relationship between the browser and web server useless. So keep them in a "medium" band.

I can now view the thread "Where are the Grilse". As long as this continues to work I will be very happy. I use Mozilla too.
