Anyone know what the conditions are like at the moment and if there are any fish about? I might make the trip up tomorrow as I need to get out an do some fishing and its looking the the Ribble will only be fit for worming.

Liddle has been up and filthy as it runs straight through a pals garden but when it fines down it should be good-same for the Esk I'd have thought but last weekends rain is the same catchment as much of Upper Tweed and its flying through there.
Buccleuch Estates will tell you what the water is like if you call them.

Still to big for the fly so im told, but the trawlers are doing well with the sea trout and a few salmon. Including the big one. Will wait and see what the rain does tonight, but hoping for a trip over on Saturday.

River in cracking condition today above Langholm.
Hooked six sea trout in 3hrs fishing, but only landed two of them - best a 3lb spanking beauty. All fish took a size 10 silver stoat.
