Anyone been up there recently? FishDee site reports "nae fish" this month. Or is this beat included in other beat catches?

thanks. I'm on Park on the 30th and Commonty 31st and 1st, so should be covering a fish or two.

Davie Gibbon is the Ghillie and is a lovely chap so he will keep you right. commonty is a fabulous beat as it is sheltered by the trees at the back and has a very wild feel. the access road is a bit rough through the forest so no low slung sports cars. If you want more inf about the beat phone Jean at Ballogie Estates. the number is on the Fishdee site. I usually fish one of the Ballogie Estate waters at least once a year but the rods are all booked up! I blame that Fishdee site.  |

Zeolite, I couldn't agree more. A friend tried to book the same beat as they had last year for three days fishing. I was going to go with them this year, and was thoroughly looking forward to it. I think it was Carlogie. However, it all went pear shaped when the fishing was booked up a lot earlier than normal, and there were no rods left. That bl00dy website!!!!  Never mind, there's always next year. |
