Have just bought this rod and was wondering if any members could give advice on which line would work best? Would a 10/11 or 11/12 be best and what make. Thanks

I normally fish the lower Don and Dee so i fish head lenghts of 65ft , I have a 13ft partridge loaded with a Snowbee 2d and a Greys grx 14ft with a Mid-spey, this is my first 15footer as i am going to be fishing the Dee more. My casting is above average, but would welcome any advice before buying if any member has used this rod. Thanks

I seem to remember this rod is stiff, I would start with the 11/12 65ft head Partridge ine or the 11/12 75ft head Carron.

Webbie,
Willie Gunn has given sound advice, I have the Powerlite #10 and use the 10/11 85ft Carron floating and the 10/11 75ft Carron Intermediate and they match the rod perfectly.
In fact if you can afford it, splash out the extra on a Carron Jetstream they are fab. I have tried most of the other manufacturers at my expense but the Carron is in a league of it's own.
