Just modified my new 16ft Norway Speycaster 11/12 on Friday, what was a three piece is now a four piece rod.It broke just above the bottom ring on the tip section(which I couldn't tape because of the rings placing but all the male sections were well waxed) during a forward cast.Shame really as up to that point I was really impressed with its performance.Don't know of any other 16ft failures but have heard of a few 15ft failures in the same place.Any way the rod is on its way to B+W for scrutiny and hopefully an acceptable conclusion.

Just received a brand new 16ft Norway Speycaster from B+W with apologies for having to wait two weeks.Top notch service or what,it will get its first outing on the Tweed in four weeks when it will show a wet 2 and brass tube who is boss and hopefully impress Salar to boot too.
