it won't be long now, and, hopefully, the warmer
months will be here.
the water, will be mainly clear, except after rainfall,
will you all, please tell me, is choice of fly, simply down
to water clarity. clear water, darkish sombre fly.
coloured water, bright garish fly..
a friend of mine, who visits scotland, four times a year,
always seems to catch fish, he showed me his
favoured fly, it was a long hairwing, bright orange and
yellow, and he uses it in clear water, i could't believe it.
have i got it all wrong.....................gavan.........
