Thinking of buying on of the discontinued Hardy Gems (MKII). Should it be the 14', 15' or another brand? Oh for a Rod Pool

I used to be a staunch Hardy supporter, but for me, there have been too many doubts raised over Hardy's image over the past few years. I bought a 15' Ian Gordon #10/11 for my father last year and liked it so much that I put aside my Hardy Elite 15'4" and hijacked my dad's rod. During the summer I bought the 13' rod and found it delightfull to use as well. For sunk line work I tried out the 16' rod and the 15' #11/12 and ended up buying the 15' one as I felt it suited my casting style better. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending the Partridge Ian Gordon range. I stay in Culter and will be home in just over a week, if you want to try any of the rods, you are more than welcome.

Thanks for the offer and info - really helpful. What we need is a rod pool
