whats your opinion guys any good? Excellent. I have 5 S3's and a couple of S2's and DC4's. They are light, beautifully engineered and have a wide ranging, smooth sealed disc drag. Go for the S3 for spey lines, the S2 is a bit on the small side. You can pick them up very cheaply on eBAy at the moment because the UK distributor has fallen out with Vosseler and is selling of all his stock cheers Splash

Cheers Splash,i had been looking at the ones on ebay, thats what prompt the question, thanks again. No problem, I hope you get lucky on the auction. Also, the DC4 is a nice large sea trout reel for a single hander holding a long bellied WF8 and reasonable amount of backing particularly if you use gel spun cheers Splash

I had them make me a couple of specials a couple of years ago (silver versions) which actually cost the same as the standard reels but took about 6 months to deliver. I did get a personal apology from Ralf Vosseler though and the reels are great cheers Splash

the last time I checked EBay , the ex-distributor had a very limited stock , smaller sizes and spools only, I suspect you may have to wait until Airflo build up a stock.

Apparently he is dribbling the stock out on ebay over 12 months so it's a case of waiting until what you want shows up. If he flooded it with the £75k worth of reels, spools and vices then he wouldn't get the prices that he is getting now for them.

Grand-just bought two but ain't picked em up yet.Mine will have B&W logo's on them as the bloke in Thirsk had run out of salmon sized reels.
Never been an expensive reel buyer so pleased these get the nod and if I like em will be able to get more.Might do a bulk sale of the Marquis #3 collection on e-bay to fund it if I like them enough to replace the old warhorses.
