Hi i have a few days on the lochy in early may just wondering if anyone has any experience or tips on pools tactics etc.

Have fished it in late May for a year three years ago.
Not many fish but any we did get were crackers. One of the boys fishing the beat above had two fish one day, a 16lber and a 34lber, both sea liced!

I used to be a Ghillie on the Lochy, so might be of some use. Do you know which beat/s you will be on yet?

Hi betanut i think the the whole 8 mile river is broken up into 4x2 mile beats and i will have access to all of it as a guest of the person who has the whole week
