Has anyone used one of these? are they made by bloke or rebranded? Thanks for any info Ian I had a casting day on Micks Shoot tutored by Carl Humphries ,had a look at the reel ,looked OK to me ,thats if you like these aboured reels, me I like them traditional .

I had a play with one of these reels , seem very well made and quite robust, the only aspect I didn't like was the frictionless retrieve which would inadvertently retrieve line as your casting, they are so well engineered one single flick of the handle can result in over a dozen revolutions.

very similar in manufacture to the shimano ultegra xt la reels - very smooth and light with several bearings and a nice drag - good value on ebay at around £60
