what do others think of these lines? i have just bought a mach11 floater with clear sinking tip and this line goes like a bullet. i tried it on a vision gt4 catapult and put the whole thing out (single spey) now im not blowing my trumpet as i am just a moderate caster but to me this line just stinks of quality.also tried it on other rods and it just flew. point being is it worth all the hassle with these multi-tips,chopping and changing when it is just about as quick changing reel or spool? price i hear you ask, well if you buy a multi-tip £100 plus or 2 machs about £100 plus i reckon the machs are better value i.e. on multi-tip you are using the main line constantly only changing tips so therefor this line will wear out quicker as opposed to the machs which will wear out gradually. i would be grateful for everybody elses comments, either in favour of or against.

I must admit I like the Mach 11s. I have the floater and the clear intermediate and they both cast very well.
I guess the point about cost and the attraction for use with the multi tip lines is that you only need one reel to carry them rather than having a reel + spare spool (s) to achive the same effect with 'normal lines' - or am I wrong?

I also have the Mach 2 floater / clear sink and the sinker and both are superb. I haven't got the full floater yet but i have used it and it is of the same quality IMHO.
I'm just used to changing over reels and have not used the multi tip lines which have had superb feedback. When it comes to cost i like to try and use the kit first which makes up my mind.

I am using the Mach 2 clear intermediate #9 with a 5' fast sink polyleader on my Ian Gordon 14' #9/10 and it works very well indeed. I also have the Mach 2 plus #9 with clear sink tip, but haven't tried it on this rod yet.
