I have a pair of these and am very happy with them, however am I supposed to treat the leather with anything from time to time ? any suggestions welcome I've used a pair of Simms Lightweight L2's with aquastealth soles and Loop leather boots with felt soles for the last 4 seasons with no treatment to the leather components of either and both are in good shape. Zephead has a pair of Simms Guide boots so can perhaps comment but my general advice is not to bother

Thanks for the reply. it just feels a bit weird doing nothing to them when you would never treat a pair of shoes or hiking boots that way. Must say the aqua stealth sole is brilliant. I never felt uneasy when wading over rocks, they even coped well on kelp covered rocks when fishing for sea trout in the sea.

I have Simms Guide boots - never treated them and they're fine after approx 2 years.
